In February 2018, we took care of the light technical and lighting show (with Grandma 2 software) for the inauguration event of the Energy Pavilion created for the Jenadriya Festival. In the presence of the Saudi King Salman, a video mapping was held on the façade of the pavilion during the moment of its activation. At the same time, India’s Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj, was also on a visit to Saudi Arabia: India was invited to participate as a host country at the event. The Indian Energy Pavilion was the context chosen to present themes and projects related to the Asian country, offering glimpses of both traditional and modern India. More than three million Indian citizens reside in Saudi Arabia and the Arab country is an important source of energy for New Delhi: its crude oil satisfies almost a fifth of India’s needs. The two countries aim to strengthen commercial relations.
